Human trafficking is a 9.5 billion-dollar industry. That is more than Nike, Starbucks, and Google combined.
And the pandemic has only added to the vulnerability of potential victims. It has brought new challenges to workers and parents as children become more vulnerable to trafficking for a number of reasons. Join us on September 17 at 6 p.m. Central / 7 p.m. Eastern for an online gathering as we examine the impact the Covid-19 crisis has had on human trafficking. During this virtual conversation facilitated by Nell, Cynthia Aulds—the Director of the Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking—will discuss the increased risk of sexual exploitation of our children during the pandemic and why it is so critical to be aware of the risks. This event is free, but registration is required. We must learn more so we can do more.
An additional note of gratitude to Anchor Bend church in Rosenberg, TX for creating this video to promote our event! We thank you!
